In 1993 the ND State Legislature passed a law that ND reflexologists are to be licensed. As a result, the ND Reflexology Board was set up to oversee the testing and licensing. There are 3 board members appointed by the governor.
Anyone advertising and receiving payment for providing reflexology in ND must be licensed. This includes anyone advertising and receiving payment for reflexology as a separate entity.
For example: Anyone working in ND in a spa, massage therapy office, salon, or chiropractic office that advertises for reflexology and receives payment for reflexology must be licensed.
